How Organizations Work

Every StickyCTAs account belongs to an organization. Each organization is an isolated workspace with its own:

A user can belong to multiple organizations and switch between them from the dashboard.

Creating an Organization

Your first organization is created automatically during onboarding. You can create additional organizations at any time to manage separate brands, clients, or projects.

From the Dashboard

Click the organization dropdown in the dashboard header and select "Create New Organization".

From the Organizations Page

Go to Organizations in the sidebar and click "Create Organization".

Each new organization starts fresh with no widgets and no active subscription. You can start a free trial independently for each organization.

Managing Organizations

The Organizations page in your dashboard shows all organizations you belong to, along with your role, widget count, and subscription status for each.

Settings: Open the organization settings page to rename the org, view stats, and manage billing.

Duplicate: Clone any widget within the same organization. The copy includes all actions, colors, and settings, and starts in Draft mode.

Leave: Remove yourself from an organization (available if you're not the only owner).

Delete: Permanently delete an organization and all its data (owners only, requires confirmation).

Organization Settings

Each organization has its own settings page where you can view and manage organization-specific details. Click "Settings" on any organization to access it.

Overview: See widget count, member count, subscription status, and your role at a glance.

Organization Name: Owners and admins can rename the organization.

Billing: Owners can view subscription details and access the Stripe billing portal to update payment methods, view invoices, or cancel.

Switching Organizations

The organization switcher is always visible at the top of your dashboard. Click it to see all your organizations, switch between them, or create a new one. All actions in the dashboard are scoped to the currently selected organization.

When you switch organizations, the dashboard updates to show that organization's widgets, subscription status, and team members.

Roles

Each member has a role that determines what they can do within the organization.

RolePermissions
OwnerFull access. Manage widgets, team members, billing, subscription, and delete the organization.
AdminManage widgets, team members, and invitations. Cannot access billing or delete the organization.
MemberCreate and edit widgets only. Cannot manage team members or access billing.

Inviting Members

Owners and Admins can invite new members from the Manage Team page. Enter the person's email address and choose a role. If the person already has a StickyCTAs account, they'll be added immediately. If not, an invitation email is sent — once they sign up through the link, they'll be automatically added to your organization.

Agency tip: Create one organization per client. This keeps each client's widgets, billing, and team members completely separate. You can switch between client organizations from the dashboard without logging out.
